Is it just me, or is the amd64 install image for NetBSD 11 not booting? https://nycdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/netbsd-11/20251020141107Z/images/NetBSD-11.0_BETA-amd64-install.img.gzThe kernel boots, but it doesn't like the root device. I even tried this on two different systems. The GPT type is listed as "unknown". From a running NetBSD system, the GPT type looks fine:
start size index contents 0 1 PMBR 1 1 Pri GPT header 2 32 Pri GPT table 34 2014 Unused 2048 262144 1 GPT part - EFI System 264192 4853760 2 GPT part - NetBSD FFSv1/FFSv2 5117952 2015 Unused 5119967 32 Sec GPT table 5119999 1 Sec GPT header 5120000 2744320 Unused https://www.klos.com/~john/installnoroot.jpgBut wait! There's more! If I use a blue USB-3 port, one test machine boots the install kernel and can see the NetBSD FFS partition. With the other, all USB ports act the same, but if I unplug the USB stick and plug it in to a different port (both a different port of the same kind or a different kind of port)(on both systems), the GPT types are correct:
