There was some recent bug fix for the boot process
(port-sgimips/58269), it was also recently pulled up to netbsd-10
branch as well. You may try recent HEAD or netbsd-10 kernels from
https://nycdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/ to see if those boot.
