Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE is taking part in a Chinese public campaign for children with hearing disabilities. FNC Entertainment, which represents the singer, said Wednesday that Jung began participating in the "Draw up new voice" a public campaign run by China Audition Medical Science Development Foundation on Monday. The campaign helps pay for education and associated costs of hearing aids for children with hearing disabilities. People who donate to the campaign will be entered into a lottery to win clothing that Jung designed himself. In addition to Jung, Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara, Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen and Chinese actors Xu Haiqiao, Feng Jianyu and Kenji Wu are also involved in the campaign. Jung is the only Korean celebrity participating. Jung was selected for the campaign based on his high popularity in China, where he was named the most popular Hallyu celebrity by a survey carried out on Weibo ahead of Christmas, FNC explained. Jung will hold his "2018 Jung Yong Hwa Live Room 622 in Seoul" solo concert at Olympic Hall inside Olympic Park in southeastern Seoul on Jan. 20-21. ()
