I'm really loving Lua! I'm a C/C++/Assembler programmer by trade and was looking to port a decent scripting language to z/OS for modernization. I stumbled across Lua when I ported redis. Not only is it a snack to port it's C API just rocks. Great work guys!

Here are a couple of rough benchmarks compared to REXX.
