Hello,

I am a beginner in Lua.

I have many lua scripts working on my old notebook (Windows 7 32 bit, Oracle ODBC) that cannot run on my new notebook (Windows 7 64 bit, Oracle ODBC).

I get this error message: "Assertion failed / File: scr\ls_odbc.c / Line: 163 / _expression_: 0" (See screenshot here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/43546099/Lua5.1_Assertion_failed_error_Win7_64bit_2012年03月08日_0924.png)

I modified the SQL selection to only a simple 1 column (type CHAR) selection: "SELECT SOCDOS FROM ZA00" and got the same error.

I searched the list and found some similar problems but coundn't find the solution. Please help!

Isn't it possible to install Lua v5.2 on Windows? Probable the new version could solve this bug in the ODBC handling.
