- Lua (in case like that) is the programming language.- LUA is i.e. Least User Account, a microSoft acronym (and maybe some more). Occasionally, one sees Lua written in all capitals on the list, but that is wrong.

For the purposes of self amusement, I was thinking of how LUA could be made into an acronym making fun of its not being an acronym. Lua's Unattractive Acronym Recursive acronym...
