Also, like I said before, LUA existed as an acronym long before Lua was born.
It meant Logical Unit Application, whatever that is. See

Between the Triassic and Jurassic period (really in the 1970s), IBM developed a technology known as VTAM (Virtual Telecommunication Access Method). It identified devices and applications as "Logical Units". That is the origin of "Logical Unit Application"... Believe me: I used it. ;-)
