FWIW, Pier Fumagalli wrote a tiny WebDAV servlet which could be a
source of, er, inspiration...
Well, here we go, a lame, not so compliant, WebDAV 1 implementation is
Lua:

Appears to work with Goliath, neon and Darwin's WebDAVFS.
