In a nutshell: AFAIK - You cant! You need something like dvdbackup to rip the .vob files, then you can re-encode them. If you're going to be working with DVD's and the likes, you'll need a good 10-15gigs to do so! DVD::Rip may allow you to use Theora. If you do try it, let me know :-) Chill.
