gestures (on SHR)

Hi List,
Now and again I try using gestures on SHR. I can't seem to get past the initial "make the gesture" after selecting a model and pressing the train button.
Should the frontend still function as described in the wiki? I started looking into the underlying scripts, but haven't found the start or end yet.
I run the "latest" and up-to-date SHR.
