[Openwrt] how do I update it ?

no idea. have you tried running any probables? i.e. opkg, dpkg,
apt-get? or looking in /usr/bin /bin /sbin etc, to see what's there?
i'm sure there'll be no serious outcomes if you try to run them, and
they're not installed
