Enter sleep mode with menu item

Ok seems power button would wakr it up, but sometimes somethign kills my power button so it didn't 
work this time.
I did find that audio dies after I rebooted then sleep then hit power button to wake up,also 
everything seems to run very slowly after it wakes up.
