Is that the frequency of the tones or the sampling rate ? The codec in the neo
has a 48kHz max sampling rate which would mean a (theoretical) max 24kHz
tone. Of course if you're good with hardware you could make a frequency
multiplier but if you just want to emulate something IrDA related, an
infrared USB dongle would be probably simpler to hack.
