[WriteLog] Newbie Question?

New to contesting, but I am considering getting a WinKeyerUSB-smt and the
Writelog v. 10.90 (Newbie Special), which has been recommended to me for CW
contesting. However, I have read in some posts in K1el Group that there
are problems with using them together. Can anyone share their wisdom on
this subject. I tried to look at the manual but could not get any
guidance...or I did not see it. Thanks.
