[WriteLog] Where are all the WL (v11.0F) files?

I'm finding WL files all over the place.
I installed the package in \program files, yet I'm finding the *ini files
in \Windows and the various *.dta files in \documents and settings\all
users\application data
Is this correct?
Also, do I still need the *.gus files?
