Howie, I went through the same problem with a laptop this summer when trying to get ready for the IOTA contest. I tried two different adapters and both failed. I ended up using a different program to log with. Unfortunate because I really like writelog - I do use WL on my home machine. 73, Nate/N4YDU On 8/28/2011 7:34 PM, k2mme at juno.com wrote: > Hi > I just moved to a windows 7 machine and am using a Trendnet TU-s9 usb to serial adapter. I works ok with both Win-Eqf and HRD but not with Writelog. I tried a lot of different port settings but to no avail. Has anybody gone through this and what did you do to solve this? > Howie K2MME >> ____________________________________________________________ > Penny Stock Jumping 3000% > Sign up to the #1 voted penny stock newsletter for free today! > http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/4e5ad09a7c675bc8a7st01vuc > _______________________________________________ > WriteLog mailing list > WriteLog at contesting.com > http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelog > WriteLog on the web: http://www.writelog.com/ >
