The solution may be to change the command from RT0; to RU0000;
as that will set the RIT to 0.000 KHz offset or to RD0000; which
will set RIT to -0.000 KHz offset.
You may want to try the FT-950 driver if it has fixed this issue
since the FT-950 command set is very similar to that of the
FT-2000/5000/9000.
