For op systems after Windows 98, Writelog needs a third party driver to open LPT1. Direct I/O is the one most of us use, but it costs about 30ドル. There is also a free one out there somewhere on the internet... For other reasons, I eventually switched to keying with COM 1 - which can be used to control a rig and produce CW at the same time, and also only requires a single transistor level shifter.... 73 Hal N4GG --------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: writelog-bounces at contesting.com [mailto:writelog-bounces at contesting.com] On Behalf Of Phillips, Richard Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2010 10:09 AM To: writelog at contesting.com Subject: [WriteLog] CW keying I have used a parallel port for CW keying with Log-EQF using a home brew cable with built in transistor switch. How can I use the same set-up with Writelog? The parallel port button in the Ports menu for CW is grayed out. 73, Rich AA9L http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelog WriteLog on the web: http://www.writelog.com/
