Hi Jerry, I too cannot open it in Excel 2003. Something about the registry policy setting. However my version of Corel Quattro X3 opens it okay as it has a Lotus 1-2-3 Version 2 compatibility mode. 73, Don VE3XD -----Original Message----- From: writelog-bounces at contesting.com [mailto:writelog-bounces at contesting.com] On Behalf Of Jerry Pixton Sent: October-02-08 8:16 AM To: writelog at contesting.com Cc: jpixton at shentel.net Subject: [WriteLog] Lotus .wk1 files Good morning, In working with my cqww log, I discovered that Microsoft Excel 2007 will no longer read the .wk1 formatted file that Writelog puts out. I have used this file for pivot tables in Excel and also use the qslcvt.xls worksheet as a quick way to get my contacts imported into an Access database. In looking at all the other outputs, none seem to have the full log information other than the .wk1 format. Has anyone already worked this problem with Excel 2007 before I go off to reinvent the wheel? At the moment, fortunately I did not upgrade all my computers to Office 2007, so I could use Excel 2003 on my wife's computer. But that is not a long term solution.
