Read the rules. They will tell you how many points a particular state, zone, country etc are worth. When you put in the call, tap the spacebar. If it shows a new multiplier, then you know it's a mult. The rules will tell you how multipliers are scored. 73 Jim W7RY -----Original Message----- From: writelog-bounces at contesting.com [mailto:writelog-bounces at contesting.com] On Behalf Of Kevin der Kinderen Sent: Saturday, November 26, 2005 9:32 AM To: writelog at contesting.com Subject: [WriteLog] Feature Request for New Contester I get a bit confused sometimes by what a particular contact is worth in a contest. Sometimes I'll enter a contact I haven't made yet just to see how it will affect my score. Of course I remove it again until the contact is made. I think it would be helpful to see how many points a particular contact would be worth when I type in enough information to make a calculation. Maybe a novice feature that could be turned on only if useful. 73, Kevin - K4VD Kevin der Kinderen http://kj4qf.net/ _______________________________________________ WriteLog mailing list WriteLog at contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelog WriteLog on the web: http://www.writelog.com/
