[WriteLog] F keys not working

I just rebuilt a desktop computer runing Windows 2000 with SP4.
I also re installed Writelog 10.50D from scratch, set it up for RTTY 
with MMTTY 1.65 and programmed the message buffers.
Now the F keys do not work. The focus is in the logging screen. The 
RTTYwrite window is set to use MMTTY on port 4. The port is functioning 
properly.
This is why I rebuilt the computer in the first place thinking something 
was corrupted but now the same problem.
The F keys work fine in other programs.
any ideas?
