The cost of the W5XD+ keyer can be dramatically
reduced by buying only the chip and building your own.
(Assuming that Ron/Wayne will still sell that
separately.)
It is really not a very complicated circuit and can be
built on perf board. That way also you get to make it
do exactly what you require for your particular
station.
