Yep. It's all been done before. Don's website http://www.rttycontesting.com/mmtty0.html showns how to interface MMTTY with Writelog seamlessly. I have some instructions on my site http://www.qsl.net/ve3buc/ on how to interface Rigblaster Plus with the Mark V for Rtty, etc. It's also on the West Mountain site http://www.westmountainradio.com/optipsrb.htm. You can pretty much adapt this to any rig. You really don't need the KAM. I have one on the shelf collecting dust and use AFSK quite successfully. 73, Don VE3XD (VE3BUC) > -----Original Message----- > From: writelog-bounces at contesting.com > [mailto:writelog-bounces at contesting.com]On Behalf Of Larry Alkoff > Sent: Friday, September 26, 2003 11:55 AM > To: writelog at contesting.com > Subject: [WriteLog] How to setup WL for rtty with Kam plus >>>> I would like to use WriteLog for the rtty contest this weekend > but am unsure how to set it up efficiently. >> My program of choice for rtty is MMTTY because of it's ease of tuning. > I also use a Rigblaster which works fine for PSK but use a KAM > Plus for rtty. > This forces me to use the Kam Plus for transmitting, MMTTY for > receiving and WriteLog or DX4Win to log. > It's a confusing mess. >> The basic problem is figuring out what piece of equipment / > software is going to do what! > I'm sure this has all been worked out before but I'm enough of a > novice in rtty to need help. >> Any advice or pointers to tutorials appreciated. >> Larry Alkoff N2LA >>>> Larry Alkoff N2LA - Austin TX >>> _______________________________________________ > WriteLog mailing list > WriteLog at contesting.com > http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelog > WriteLog on the web: http://www.writelog.com/ >
