Hi all, Well, I have now managed to get hold of a suitable transistor, and I have made up the lead, (courtesy of AA5AU - thanks Don!), and it really does work quite well! Had a few problems getting the settings right, but it is now all working correctly. Thanks to all who made suggestions, and I may well see you in the next CW contest! Very best 73 de Phil GU0SUP
