Check to make sure no other function on the computer is configured to use that COM port; e.g., not assigned to a modem, not used to sync up a PDA such as an iPAQ or Palm Pilot, etc. Situations like these will grab the COM port when the machine is booted, and then WL won't be able to access it. -- Eric K3NA
