OK, thanks everyone. It seems the missing file may have been part of a I/O card driver. Turns out the real problem with the computer was the I/O card. Took it out & things booted & ran fine. Just so happened that that was the port the rig control was on. Discovered this after format & reinstall of windows. And reinstall of 10.23 & up Writelog. Jim Rhodes K0XU jim@rhodesend.net
