Doing what you suggest creates the "problem" that the logging software
will need to be updated if the ARRL ever adds more categories like it
did a couple of years ago. This caused a big problem with CT, and SS
logs created with older versions could not be used with the newer
version (post M/S/U) and vice-versa.
I vote to leave it as-is.
