I have a similar USB to SERIAL adapter as well. How do you overcome the fact of WL only being able to assign COM1-COM4 in the port assignments. I have tried to reassign IRQ's without much success and allot of frustration over all the problems it causes. Is there a way to have WL recognize anything higher than COM4? It plugs into a USB port and provides you with 4 more serial or com ports. Works great too. 73s de Marty AA5UN ----- Original Message ----- From: David Douglass <ddouglass@mmfsias.com.au> To: <writelog@contesting.com> Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2001 22:37 PM Subject: [WriteLog] More COM Ports >> Apologies for this question, but I'm not much of a computer person. >> What's the best way of getting some addition con ports on my PC.
