[Clfs-dev] mke2fs command on 2.3

Hi all.
I'm starting a CLFS project, it's my first LFS and my english is really rusty, 
please be patient. I'll try to collaborate with the book during this project.
In the '2.3. Creating a File System on the Partition' chapter says that if the 
command
debugfs -R feature /dev/[xxx]
return anything different to
dir_index; filetype; large_file; resize_inode or sparse_super
you must recompile the e2fsprogs, it's not simpler to exec
mke2fs -O dir_index,filetype,large_file,resize_inode,sparse_super /dev/[xxx]
or is there any dark issue?
