Today is the Steering Group Meeting for Junior Eurovision 2013 in Kiev, and a picture of the rehearsal schedule for the contest has been posted on Twitter. The photo clearly shows that 12 countries at a minimum will be taking part in the 2013 contest. The 2012 contest in Amsterdam saw a total of 12 countries take part. So far confirmed to take part this year are:
- Armenia
- Belarus
- Georgia
- Macedonia
- Malta
- Netherlands
- Russia
- Sweden
- Ukraine
Expected to confirm they will take part:
- Moldova
- Israel
This means that there another country may be debuting at the contest or returning if the contest is to reach 12 countries.

Since launching Eurovoix in April 2011, it has been a pleasure to find out more about this amazing continent through the Eurovision Family of Events. From starting out as a small site, it's been brilliant to see the site grow and flourish and continue to bring our readers everything from the world of Eurovision.
