The Tar package contains an archiving program.

6.25.1. Installation of Tar

Configure can not properly determine the results of a few tests. Set them manually:

Prepare Tar for compilation:

./configure \
 --prefix=/tools \
 --build=${CLFS_HOST} \
 --host=${CLFS_TARGET} \
 --cache-file=config.cache

Compile the package:

make

Install the package:

make install
