もしnsswitchの設定が(nss_winbindじゃなくて)nss_ldapを使う設定に
なっているなら、解決策は以下かもしれません。

You can potentially change you nss_ldap configuration
to return computers as well as users or replace nss_ldap
with nss_winbind.
