This reference guide provides images and specifications for thirty-nine different production player models. You may notice that some of the different name brands look nearly identical. That's because all CED players were manufactured by Hitachi, RCA, Sanyo, or Toshiba, and the other name brands are clones with minor styling or feature changes. See the RCA Engineering Models page for information on pre-production models from the CED System design period. Clicking on the thumbnail images below will open up a page for each player. The players are alphabetized by row according to name brand, then model number. The CED Player Reference Guide may also be viewed in slide show fashion from the individual player pages. An explanation of any of the specifications that are not obvious can be found on the CED Player Specifications page.
