Background

I am a forest biometrician living in the Pacific Northwest, United States. I hold a Ph.D. in forest biometrics from Oregon State University. Most of my work revolves around developing statistical methodologies for large-scale forest inventories. Specifically, I engage in the following topics:

  • Small area estimation
  • Sampling designs
  • Remote sensing applications for forest inventories
  • Biomass prediction and mapping
  • Carbon accreditation systems and validation for forest management
