PSS Working Group Chair, Matthew Ballance, provides some insight into PSS with two new videos:

A third PSS video comes from the DVCon U.S. 2025 workshop, "PSS Comes of Age: Runtime Behavioral Coverage, Methodology and More," where attendees learned how behavioral and data coverage can be combined to measure test effectiveness. The workshop showcased the PSS Working Group’s efforts to build a methodology library that promotes interoperability and simplifies scenario creation, and included a preview of upcoming features in PSS 3.1.

What’s Next in Low-Power: IEEE 1801TM-2024

The DVCon U.S. 2025 Workshop, "Introduction of IEEE 1801-2024 (UPF 4.0) Improvements for the Specification and Verification of Low-power Intent," is now available to view on demand. Members of the IEEE working group provided an overview of key enhancements to the Unified Power Format (UPF) standard, addressing the growing complexity of low-power designs and the need for improved IP reuse, analog/digital co-verification, and state retention modeling.
